What Do Captioning Jobs Entail?
- Creating accurate captions for videos to make them accessible to individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing
- Transcribing spoken dialogue, background noises, and other audio elements
- Syncing captions with the audio in the video to ensure proper timing
- Editing and formatting captions to meet quality standards
Qualifications:
- Excellent typing skills with a high level of accuracy
- Strong attention to detail
- Good command of the English language
- Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines
- Previous experience in captioning or transcription is a plus
